The Explorer page (also known as the ‘Map’) is usually the landing page when a user first logs into Cordel Connect (though this can be configured to suit company requirements). All areas of the network that have been scanned (or that have BYOD data associated with them) will be displayed here.

To access the Web Explorer, go to Management> Explorer

## Web Explorer: Page Navigation

### The Map

1. <span style="color: #ff5630">Map/Dark/Satellite mode (pink)</span>: Users can switch between modes depending on their visual preferences
2. <span style="color: #0747a6">Search (blue)</span>: The search bar allows users to search for features in their Network Model (driven by the associated metadata). To search, just start typing - this field is autocompleted and will begin searching as you type.
3. <span style="color: #ffc400">Layers (yellow)</span>: Clicking on the map layers button will reveal a list of all possible map overlay / features that can be enabled. Examples include showing/not showing uploaded missions; kinematic infringements, etc.
4. <span style="color: #006644">Rover marker/s (green)</span>: The Explorer (Map) page displays the location of each rover, along with basic telemetry information for each - which is visible when a user clicks on the ‘rover marker’.

### The Mission List Card

The client Network Model (also known as the Linear Reference System or ‘LRS’) is represented on the map as a cyan line (if available).

1. Missions: Clicking on any path in the Network Model opens the ‘mission list’ card which shows users a list of missions that were captured. The mission list can be sorted/filtered by date range.

The ‘Show Uploaded Missions’ layer displays a basic polyline which maps out all of the regions that have been covered by the scan hardware in the customer’s network.

More on missions can be found [here](https://corridor1.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DS/pages/1534296137).

2. Metadata (Track Info): Clicking on any path in the Network Model opens the ‘mission list’ card - users can then select the ‘track info’ tab on the right of this card to view the metadata associated with the selected track.

### Rover Markers

Clicking on the ‘rover marker’ will select that rover and begin to follow it along the map as well as showing the ‘rover information card’ with live telemetry and track code information.

**The Rover Information Card:**

1. The rover name (DESKTOP-3SDI5RH)
2. The overall status (Ready, Warning, Error, Unavailable)
Note: Offline rovers will state when they were last available
3. The status indicators for Capture, GNSS, LiDAR and Storage

Once a rover marker is clicked it will be focused as the currently selected rover (denoted by a black dot at the centre of the marker).

The rover marker changes state based on the health of the capture system as it travels around the network. [More on rover health statuses can be found here](https://corridor1.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CSD/pages/1556578373/#rover-status).

### Tickets

Tickets (also referred to as infringements) are shown to users through the map layers function mentioned above.

Users can view infringements of a certain type by clicking the ‘Show {type} Infringements’ layer:

Once an infringement type is toggled on in map layers, each instance of that infringement type is represented with a ‘infringement map marker’.

> 📝 Note: users may need to zoom in on the map to an appropriate level before the ticket flags are visible.

**Infringement Map Markers**

Infringement map markers provide users with basic metadata related to that ticket, and also allow users to interact with a ticket by:

- Viewing the associated mission (deep linked to the given position of the infringement)
- Viewing the ticket / infringement in more detail in the Ticket Viewer
- Viewing the associated point cloud / LiDAR (deep linked to the given position of the infringement)
- Viewing the cross-sectional image of the ticket (in a pop-up modal)
