By following these safety guidelines, you can help ensure the safe and effective operation of the Cordel Wave-Rugged. If you have any questions or concerns about safety, please contact Cordel Support ([support@cordel.ai](mailto:support@cordel.ai)) for assistance.

1. **Read the User Guide:** Before operating the Cordel Wave-Rugged LiDAR scanner, carefully read the user guide and familiarize yourself with its operation, features, and safety precautions.
2. **Proper Installation:** Ensure that the Cordel Wave-Rugged LiDAR scanner is securely mounted and installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use appropriate mounting hardware and follow recommended installation practices.
3. **Power Requirements:** Only use the specified power source and cables provided with the Cordel Wave-Rugged. Do not use damaged or frayed cables, and avoid overloading electrical outlets.
4. **Environmental Conditions:** Operate the Cordel Wave-Rugged within the specified temperature range.
5. **Maintenance:** Regularly inspect the Cordel Wave-Rugged for any signs of damage, wear, or malfunction. Do not attempt to open or repair the product yourself. Disassembling the product may result in degraded performance, loss of water resistance, or potential injuries to the operator. 6. **Training:** Ensure that operators are properly trained in the use and installation of the Cordel Wave-Rugged and are aware of all safety precautions and procedures.

To maintain the warranty and reduce the risk of electric shock, refrain from disassembling the product. It should not be tampered with or altered in any manner, as there are no user-serviceable components inside. > ℹ️ Laser Safety Notice - Laser Class 1

This system contains an internal Class 1 Laser measurement device. This system meets Class 1 eye-safety standards under normal operation.

Class 1 protection does not apply to damaged products. In all circumstances, if you suspect that the product malfunctions or is damaged, stop using it immediately to avoid potential hazards.

This device complies with:

- IEC 60825-1:2014
- 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11, with the exception of deviations (IEC 60825-1 Ed.3) as per Laser Notice No.56, dated May 8, 2019.

> ❌ DO NOT LOOK INTO THE TRANSMITTING LASER WITH A MAGNIFYING DEVICE (MICROSCOPE, EYE LOUPE, MAGNIFYING GLASS, ETC.).
